It's funny and so crazy when things fall right into place for opportunities to meet new people and experience new things that benefit and impact your life forever. I had this experience last week for a benefit concert to help raise money for a family who's daughter had just passed away. This concert was put on by The Vault dance group owned by Tia Stokes. I love watching dance concerts so I thought "hey why not!" My schedule immediately got cleared up for the night and my husband and I went! I had no clue what to expect but I was overwhelmed to tears about how much support this dance group provided and how many people showed up to support the family. High school dance and cheer teams from around Washington County performed their hearts out as well as they all came to support Abbie's family. A fundraiser was done before the show with a silent auction, a bake sale, and pizza provided by Hungry Howies. All proceeds from the bake sale, silent auction, AND admission into the concert when to the family! PLUS 50% of the proceeds from Hungry Howies went to the family as well.
Shocked. I stood there completely shocked about how this dance team had done this for the family. I came to find out that over the past 10 years of The Vault being open, they have done 36 benefit concerts and have raised over $370,000.00 for families all over! Hard work, service, and dedication is what The Vault is made of. Tia Stokes, you are truly amazing and you have created something that is priceless. Thank you for all you do and the special spirit you bring with your dance crew. I LOVE THE VAULT!!!
